Two grants from Læge Sofus Carl Emil Friis og hustru Olga Doris Friis' Legat

Henrik Clausen, director of CCG, has received a grant of 1.2 million DKK from Læge Sofus Carl Emil Friis og hustru Olga Doris Friis' legat to explore the role of complex carbohydrates in 1) bacterial and viral cell adhesion, 2) treatment of lysosomal storage diseases and 3) development of improved antibodies for cancer immunotherapy.

Additionally, Katrine Schjoldager, assistant professor at CCG, has received 400.000 DKK for the project "The Biology of Glycosylation on peptide hormones and neuropeptides" which focuses on mapping the function of O-glycans in human metabolism.
